First I verified there was good water volume getting to the door, by uncoupling the hose at the door bottom (press in coupler ring) and activating the dispenser, there was not. I made the right initial move - I went to appliancepartspros.com and located the necessary parts. A video convinced me I could make the repairs myself. The new slides fit perfectly. One thing to mention is that the slide rails come with the slide bearings so you do not need to buy those separate. When I called I was told I needed the bearings so I bought 3 assuming I would be able to salvage the others. Turns out I did not need them. Read more

Really easy project. Ordered the replacements and after arrival removed worn gaskets and replaced with new. Main thing is to make sure your replace in same direction as originals and make sure you secure gasket in groove. Read more

After seeing the extensive list/pictures of repair parts available on your web site and really not knowing what parts needed to be replaced, I decided that it would be easier just to order a complete Ice Bucket Assembly. It took longer to open the box than it did to install the new Ice Bucket. And delivery was really quick too, about 4 days from order to delivery...that is service defined. 1.) Located where the water leak was coming from in the refrigerator. 2.) Unplugged the refrigerator. 3.) Shut off the water supply to the refrigerator. 4.) Unscrewed the back cardboard panel. 5.) Unscrewed the Water Valve attached to the side of the refrigerator (one screw). 6.) Disconnected the three electrical plugs on the water valve. This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. The defrost heater element looked good and had continuity. The defrost thermostats checked good, so that just left the Defrost Module as the likely suspect. I installed a new defrost control module and thermostats. The thermostats were inexpensive and the old ones could have been intermittent, The only "tricky" part was finding out how to get to the back screw that holds the main control panel.
