I replaced the icemaker. It was fairly easy, with the most difficult part being access to the icemaker in the bottom freezer. I loosened two screws, removed one additional screw, disconnected the wiring and removed the old icemaker. I mounted the wiring harness and ice level sensor arm from the old unit onto the new icemaker and installed it with no problems. I wish I'd done this months ago instead of repeatedly attempting to repair the old icemaker. Read more

I replaced the adjusters on both sides (since two rollers broke off on one and one broke off on the other). Replacement was easy, just remember to keep the clips from the original adjusters. Take the clips off, remove the adjuster, replace with the new adjuster, and replace the clips. The new adjuster comes with the rollers already attached so no need to keep the ones from when plastic axle broke on the original adjusters. Read more

I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. Replaced ice maker unit. 4 screws to remove cover on inside door. 2 screws for ice maker. Three connectors: ice maker on/off switch, LED light, wiring harness connector. A second person assisted by bracing the door for me, but not necessary to get the job done. I also used some cellophane and tape to cover the door opening for the 5 minutes it took to replace the unit. Thanks to Jason and his tech people at Appliance Parts Pro, I was able to remove and replace the seal and eliminate all leaks at the bottom of the door. I have a Kitchenaide (Whirlpool) dishwasher model KUDC10IXBL1. I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. I took the bottom access cover off, and checked underneath the unit to isolate where it was leaking from. Cleaned the cover, and the spot where the leak happened was marked for me. The front, far left hand side, behind the door. Ran a quick rinse cycle with a pan under the spot to verify it was there. It was. Then I did an internet search and found your website.
