My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? I used Fixya as an initial source describing my problem. I got two responses which were very helpful. One that the "coils" were probably the problem. Two, that the problem could be the thermostat or a thermistor in the dryer. I verified that AC was coming from the timing control, that both the two terminal and three terminal coils,the igniter and shut off thermostat all had continuity. I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. All you need is a nut driver. The end cap is attached to the side of the refrigerator cabinet with two long screws. Once you remove them, you should slide the end cap towards you. It will release the internal clip that holds the front of the end cap. You should then unscrew the metal slider from the end cap. Assembly of the new end cap is the reverse. You should first attach the metal slider to the new end cap. Attaching the new end cap to side of the refrigerator cabinet is a little tricky.... Read more

I used the Appliance Parts Pros d.i.y. video to get some oversight on the repair; ordered the parts (heating element, Hi-Limit T-stat and Dryer Thermal Cut-Off kit). I replaced the icemaker. It was fairly easy, with the most difficult part being access to the icemaker in the bottom freezer. I loosened two screws, removed one additional screw, disconnected the wiring and removed the old icemaker. I mounted the wiring harness and ice level sensor arm from the old unit onto the new icemaker and installed it with no problems. I wish I'd done this months ago instead of repeatedly attempting to repair the old icemaker. Read more
