Just replaced the things. Had to reuse old tine rows, rollers, the spray arm, etc., i.e. I removed 'em from the old racks and put on the new ones, but that was piece of cake. Also, I cleaned the food grinder and the discharge valve compartment (thank you very ???? ???? much, Internet), so spray arms around the top rack get enough water pressure now. I ordered what I thought were the necessary parts from appliancepartspro.com as my washing machine wouldn't spin. I should have watched there videos before I began as I took the whole cabinet off and everything and after receiving the parts and watching their video realized I didn't need to do so, at that point in time. This was a Maytag DE312 actually a Whirlpool labeled as Maytag) and is 27 years old. Replaced motor, drive belt and drum rollers. One tricky part was the motor because the new motor comes with integral starter and it was necessary to cut off existing female spade connectors on some wires and crimp on new connectors. The washer would try to start. The door would lock, but then would get stuck in the phase of start-up where the drum needs to roll around (I assume so it knows what's in there). It would sit and think about it for a couple minutes and then give the error codes. While this is a Whirlpool dishwasher, I have the Kenmore Elite version of it. I believe them to be identical for parts. A little background: The first symptom I had of problems was plastic bits from the ball bearing retainer strips in the slides falling out. Then ball bearings falling out. A common problem with this dishwasher. When disassembling the upper basket, some of the gray plastic pieces were very brittle and easily snapped off. • Will not fill with water

Cycle would complete but dishes weren't clean (not even really wet) and soap wasn't dissolving. Could hear fill at start but maybe not spraying or filling again in cycle. Thought it was the control board, but actually this was not the error. Replaced the control board and same problem arose, only new control board version actually stopped cycle with message that dishwasher couldn't fill. • Oven not heating evenly

Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. The little piece that holds crisper drawer on broke off. Every time pull drawer out lid fell off. I ordered left side panel. All I had to do was take drawer out unscrew old part take track off old part put on new part and screw back in. Took 5 minutes very cheap easy repair. Read more
