Fix DE error codes and door lock failures with this washer door lock switch. Most DIYers complete this repair in under an hour with our video guide.
Superfast parts delivery. Got packages by the second day. Videos were extremely helpful and well done; we couldn't have done without them although we came across slight differences in our machine and found workarounds. Our machine did not drain the water so I drained the water manually via drain tube at bottom of the machine and checked the filter for blockage. All clear so I read articles on the internet and watched videos and took a chance on replacing the drain pump and circulating motor... Read more
Fix washer overfilling or not filling issues with a water level pressure switch replacement. Common repair for PE error codes. Takes 10-20 minutes to install.
Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry. The price of replacing the water inlet valve was half of a local repair call just to diagnose the issue so I decided to have faith in the odds presented to me. The part arrived on time, and using AppliancePros advice and... Read more
Fix a stuck or non-working ice/water dispenser with this micro switch. Common cause of dispensers running continuously or not activating. Easy DIY repair.
After my layman's diagnosis (hope) of a bad micro switch to the ice dispenser (would not activate and dispense ice through the chute) I purchased the both the ice and water dispenser micro switches (kill two birds with one stone). Albeit the video attached to these parts may be helpful to some it was not applicable to my refrigerator, as you could not access it from the front by removing the exterior dispenser plate. Don't try this on the LG, LFX25991ST series, refrigerator or you may break it... Read more

The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. Came up with next control item upstream and tallied that item failure with percentages of successful repairs, (4 mins.) door safety switch. This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). It would be wise to order the motor seal and micro switch that goes with it as they are all cheap parts and easy to swap out during the procedure. Be sure to take... Read more
