Washer Switch

This door switch is a replacement push-button switch that completes the circuit when the appliance door closes, restoring power or lighting. It helps return normal operation when a faulty door switch prevents the unit from running or the interior light from working. What it does:

• Detects door open/closed position and completes or interrupts power to controls or lights
• Commonly replaces a broken or non-responsive push-button that prevents the appliance from starting
• Fits into the door frame and connects to the existing wiring harness to signal closed/open status

• Disconnect power (unplug or shut off breaker) before attempting any service
• Remove the door trim or access panel as required for your model to reach the switch mounting
• Note wire locations or take a photo before disconnecting; reattach wires to the same terminals
