Replacement tub suspension pads for washing machines. Install under the tub to cushion and stabilize during spin cycles. Replace if cracked or missing.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You It was dancing around the floor when it went into the spin cycle   Harry W. • Landisburg , PA • January 19, 2020

First went through the troubleshooting guide on the website and read the various stories and watched the repair videos for replacing the springs and suspension pads. Then before ordering any parts disassembled the machine only to the point of removing the cabinet to see if there were any obvious issues. The springs appeared OK but I couldn't tell of they were fatigued or not and all were in place but the tub suspension pads were definitely worn out. I then put the machine back together and went... Replacement lower dishrack for dishwashers. Holds dishes, pots, and pans during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, rusted, or tines are broken or missing.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The bottom dishwasher rack was rusting and needed to be replaced   Denise D. • Frederick , MD • January 28, 2017

I ordered a replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com, however the exact part for my Kitchen Aid dishwasher had been discontinued. There were two differences between the original and replacement part. First, the original rack had two adjustable tine rows, but the replacement only had one. I was only able to attache one of them to the new rack. This didn't present any issue other than having less flexibility in customizing the configuration for loading large items on the rack. The second... Read more

We watched the videos posted on AppliancePartsPros.com website several times before starting the work. Once we were confident of the process, we jumped in with the complete disassembly of the washing machine's drum rotating assembly...everything that touched the drum or made it rotate. My son and I disassembled and inspected each part for wear/damage and ordered replacement parts based on condition. The parts came in within 3 days of ordering. After looking up the model number of my washing machine on AppliancePartsPros.com I ordered the suspension rod kit, two sets of tub centering springs (one spring per corner), a Ring-Tub (mine was breaking apart due to banging around) and a spare suspension bearing kit in case I need it later. Interior lights staying on or not working? This door switch controls refrigerator lighting and functions. Moderate DIY repair with video guide available.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Light switch on bottom freezer compartment flakey (intermittant)   Alfred M. • Pahoa , HI • September 07, 2014

I watched the video on replacing the switch on a side freezer where prying out to original switch did not look difficult. I then got on the floor and tried to pry out my switch. Had a terrible time (locking tab or switch body hardened with time?) and mangled the switch terribly and the upper panel of the freezer somewhat, but the switch did come out. AND THEN the top freezer panel with the switch and light assembly fell out into my hands! I was able to unplug one Molex connector and the... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Old Whirlpool dryer model LE8650XWW0 would not heat purchase in 1993.   Byron V. • Huntsville , AL • December 08, 2017

Since the dryer was 24 years old I opted to replace all the possible problem components, instead of just the bad one. The parts aren't that expensive and do to their age I figured it was worth it to avoid having to go back into the dryer in a few months. The repair was surprisingly easy and went pretty much as the video instruction AppliancePartPros provided with one exception. Because, my model was much older than that used in the video, I had a more difficult time replacing the Heating... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Upper basket rails were falling apart   Charles F. • Ashburn , VA • October 05, 2019

While this is a Whirlpool dishwasher, I have the Kenmore Elite version of it. I believe them to be identical for parts. A little background: The first symptom I had of problems was plastic bits from the ball bearing retainer strips in the slides falling out. Then ball bearings falling out. A common problem with this dishwasher. When disassembling the upper basket, some of the gray plastic pieces were very brittle and easily snapped off. So I ended up replacing all of the plastic pieces related... Read more

Whirlpool Oven Igniter
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: WP9758079

The Oven Igniter is an OEM part for Whirlpool ovens. It is designed to ignite the gas in the oven burner, providing the heat necessary for baking or broiling. This igniter is critical for the oven’s functionality, as it must heat up to a specific temperature to open the gas valve and begin the combustion process.

Symptoms of a bad Oven Igniter include:

  • The oven failing to heat up despite the gas being turned on.
  • A gas smell indicating that gas is being released without ignition.
  • Intermittent heating, where the oven fails to maintain a consistent temperature.

Causes of a bad oven igniter can include aging and wear that reduce the igniter’s ability to reach the required temperature, electrical issues such as faulty wiring or connections, or a malfunctioning safety valve that doesn’t open properly.

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

This part fixes the following symptoms
  • Won't start

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The igniter in my whirlpool gas range needed replacement   Thomas B. • Cobleskill , NY • November 24, 2014

There are hex screws keeping the igniter in place. I think they were 5/16...so you have to have a socket wrench. The space is kind of tight, and it's all on the right side, so if you're left handed (like I am) it's going to be a challenge to get the hex screws out without dropping them. Dropping them isn't too bad if they don't fall into the hole the gas pipe is coming through. Unfortunately one of them fell in there, and there's no getting it out of there. I had a machine screw that fit, so I... Read more

  • Dishwasher not starting
  • Leaks around the door during a wash cycle
  • The door latch feeling loose or not engaging properly

Whirlpool Refrigerator Door Gasket (Right Side, Gray)
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10830055

Replace your worn refrigerator door gasket to restore the tight seal that keeps cold air in. Easy push-in installation takes 10 minutes. Verify fit with your model.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Bad gasket / melted tray (my fault dishwasher)   Donald T. • Stewartstown , PA • August 09, 2016

The tray was simple, pick up the old one, pop in the new one. The gasket for my refrigerator was almost as easy. When I received the part I opened it up and let it lay flat for about 3 days (probably overkill). The old gasket popped right out and the new one went in really easy. The entire job took me about 10 minutes to do, no tools required. I do recommend that you start with corners and work your way to the middle of each side. I found that would prevent any stretching.
