This capacitor helps the appliance's motor/compressor start and run smoothly by providing a short electrical boost at startup. Replacing a faulty capacitor restores reliable motor operation and can stop intermittent starting or unusual humming. What it does:
Microwave not heating or making unusual sounds? The high voltage capacitor stores energy for the magnetron. DIY repair with proper discharge safety.
This TH capacitor is an electrical control-circuit capacitor used on compatible Bosch appliances to help stabilize voltage and filter electrical noise for reliable control-board operation. Replacing a failed capacitor can address intermittent control issues. What it does

This is a motor start/run capacitor that helps the appliance's motor start and run smoothly by supplying a brief boost of electrical energy. Replacing a failing capacitor restores reliable motor startup and operation. What it does:
This is an oil-filled high-voltage capacitor used in the microwave's magnetron circuit. It stores and releases electrical energy to help power the magnetron, which generates the microwaves that heat food. Replace this capacitor if the microwave runs but does not heat, hums loudly without heating, or if the capacitor has visibly bulged or leaked oil.
Downloaded service manual, got over my fear of getting shocked. Found Samsung put bleed resistors in capacitor, jumped with screwdriver to confirm as per service manual. Tested diode, found a large voltage drop with 9v battery. Capacitor test failed. Called into APP to confirm, got some great advice. Ordered cap and diode, arrived next day, installed and corrected problem. This micro has conv and is built into my motorhome, I had few options, none really, but to fix and no one wanted to... Fix a weak or noisy range hood blower with this capacitor. Restores proper motor performance to efficiently remove cooking vapors from your kitchen.
Fix a range hood fan that won't start or runs intermittently with this motor start/run capacitor. Easy DIY repair restores proper motor performance.
I removed the fan from inside the hood which was much easier to do that expected since only one screw needed to be removed. It took two of us to get this double drum fan lowered. The fan turned freely but would not start so I got into the electronics and identified the problem as the two large start capacitors. The cost to replace the fan from GE was $1,200 and their cost for capacitors was $87 dollars a piece. I contacted Appliance Part Pros and chatted with their service department who easily... Read more
Fix a microwave that won't heat or has no power with this high voltage capacitor. Critical component requiring careful handling and discharge.
Microwave won't heat? A faulty capacitor often causes no heating or weak performance. This high-voltage capacitor restores full power. Moderate DIY.
Fix a humming or slow-starting range hood motor with this motor run capacitor. Restores smooth operation and reduces startup problems in minutes.
Fix a dryer that won't start or hums but doesn't spin. This motor run/start capacitor restores reliable motor operation. DIY-friendly repair in under an hour.
Replaced capacitor trough rear access panel. Started right up but no heat. Had to reset thermostat by pushing little red button on it. Thermostat was on back of heating element. Thanks to reviewer William M.. for great info. Read more
This run capacitor helps the appliance motor start and run smoothly by storing and releasing electrical energy. Replacing a worn capacitor can restore reliable motor operation and reduce abnormal motor noise or cycling. What it does:
This is a high voltage capacitor used in the electronic control or microwave cooking section of a range or oven. It stores and releases electrical energy to help power components that require high voltage. Replace this capacitor if the oven or range displays error codes, fails to heat properly, or if the control board is malfunctioning due to a faulty capacitor.
