The ordeal began after wiping around burner knobs with a moist paper towel with cleaner and wrapping the towel around the burner knob shaft to clean around it. The cooktop stopped sparking on all the 5 burners and no red LED light. There was gas flow and I could light the burner using a lighter. Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. When the lens broke the light fell down into the base of the cooktop. I bought a light and lens but for the price I could not go wrong. I cannot believe how fast and easy my order was handled!! • Element will not heat

Replaced infinite switch on large burners and just went ahead and replaced the infinite switch on the small burners while I had it apart and installed all new surface elements as well...parts were shipped the next day and I received them within 2 days... Read more

Range has no model ID plate anywhere. Flip off electric at circuit breaker box. Opened top of range and noted details of the faulty burner, including confirm that outer coil was fried. The maker info on back of element was useless in finding replacement: more useful was general shape, and the numbers around edge on back. Close up range, since low heat element still working. Removed the defective burner labeled the leads as to their location and coil connections. Replaced the connections to the corresponding locations, 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and the bridged terminal as it was. I noticed that the coils in the replacement burner were not wound in the same direction as the original burner and made note of this. • Little to no heat when baking

Replaced ingniter. Unlike some of the repair videos I saw, I could do everything by removing the lower draw, and in fact access from the back of the stove was not an option on my Amana. Pulling the stove out and fussing around turned a likely ten minute job in to a twenty minute. Unit work great, now I just need to keep tabs on the broiler igniter, which may be on the way out as well. Read more

• Oven not heating evenly

Ordered new screws and door gasket. Replaced the old door gasket now the oven warms up faster and bakes the stuff easier. Replaced the missing door trim screws. Now the door close without making noises. Read more

Replaced the main control board on a Thermador oven model POD301J/01 after we got an E115 error and the top broiler would come on no matter what setting you put it on and wouldn't turn off and would overheat. Took me about 30 mins total to replace after taking pics to make sure everything went back as it was. So far so good and it's working again! Read more

I replaced the controller to remedy the LED display issue and changed the motor latch assembly to fix the F95 error. The installation of both parts was very easy. A local repair shop wanted a minimum of $115 just to show-up at my door, and their price for the same parts was over $140 what I paid at AppliancePartsPros. Thanks. Read more

Turned stove breaker off in the main breaker box and also unplugged the oven from the 220 outlet. pulled the baking racks out of the oven and proceeded to locate the 1/4 screws just above the bake element where it passes through the metal wall and removed them. pulled the element forward until the wires were exposed and unplugged them and then attached the new element to the wires and reinstalled in reverse order.
