Removed & replaced baffle. Make sure you have a 1/4" nut driver. You can't see the nut that is at a 90 degree angle from the front of the refrigerator. There is a second nut hidden behind the air filter at the back of the compartment as well. Once you remove these two, the plastic housing comes off & the assembly (which is mostly made of Styrofoam) is easily replaced. Read more

I have used AP Pros.com in the past. They've always been helpful. I used the live chat feature to describe the symptoms (freezer was fine, fridge was too cold, water filter/line frozen) and she made recommendations and showed me exploded view PDF's of the location of each part. We bought a house with an over-the-range microwave, which just recirculated air into our house--not effective for smoky meals! We removed the microwave and cut a hole to send the exhaust out the back of the microwave (and out of our house), but realized we were missing this damper and frame that go on the back of the microwave for rear exhaust. After checking the defrost heater to confirm it was ok. I replaced the main electronic board. That wasn't it. After 1 1/2 weeks, it frosted up again. I called and talked to a tech person at APP and then ordered the air tower, defroster thermostat, and temp sensor. I installed them all and the frig works great.
