After researching on the internet, I decided replacing the wave guide cover would be much cheaper than replacing the microwave. Plus I couldn't even find one that worked with the existing trim kit. First off I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the meat tray, and the three screws on either side. The screws hold the meat tray drawer guides. I then removed the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, and the shelf above the two drawers, these did not have screws. Removed the one screw that held the damper motor housing. Replaced diffuser. Repairman isolated problem, but didn't have the part. When he said he couldn't find one, I tried APP and they had one available immediately. Part came in 2 days. I had watched the repairman remove the old one, so followed the same procedure and replace it. Not too difficult. It works fine now. Read more
