Gasket and liner arrived as planned. Clips were a day later. Used "hog ring" pliers to remove the clips, worked great. Pre-punched holes in the gasket did not match the original but the plastic liner did. Used an ice pick to punch the gasket and inserted the clips. This is a chest freezer, so install the hinge side first. Read more

Loosened the top half screws, pulled the old seal out, put new seal in, snugged top screws, repeated process for the bottom. Went well, no problems. Read more

Everything went well! The water inlet was easy to replace once the top and rear was opened. I've always wanted to replace the door seal as it was looking gross with 9 years of use. I was a little intimidated but after watching a few videos on YT it wasn't very difficult. Putting the spring back around the seal and re-installing the front was the most challenging part about it. Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Simple unscrewed the set screw, removed the broken sensor-moisture part, attached the leads, and reattached the part to the back of the dryer. Took about 4 minutes. Read more
