Replaced the regulator with part #AP5802175. Watched the video when purchasing, and it was spot on. Would have taken me about 15-20 minutes if I had access to a vise, to remove one of the fittings. This moisture sensor consists of two metal strips typically mounted inside the dryer drum area that detect the moisture level in clothing during a drying cycle. It signals the control board to end the cycle when clothes reach the desired dryness. Replace this sensor if your dryer shuts off too early with clothes still damp, runs too long, or if the auto-dry cycle no longer functions properly.
