New parts from Appliance Parts Pro were spot on, what a relief not to get into and have wrong parts. Really happy with speed of delivery and ordering process. Removed front cover, was able to access all 4 shocks from the front - time saver. Washer bellow and spring were a little bit of a finger buster, but after removing both bottom and top counter weights was super helpful. Using a 13MM socket to pinch the end of the shock absorber mounting pins was a great tip found here. Read more

I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. This was more maintenance than a fix. I replaced the door gasket and temp sensor on my dryer. Thought what the heck and it might work more efficiently. I also replaced the shocks on my front loading washer. That was a bit of a chore, but could not have done it without the video that showed how to replace them. The socket was the life saver.
