Had to cut the old line at the water storage tank and attach the new one using the connector fitting from the kit. The new line was run on the outside of the refrigerator to reach the solenoid valve on the opposite side. The is no route within the refrig other than under the compressor/motor. Not the best situation but I secured the line with cable clamps. Read more

Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Replaced cracked drain hose elbow, a rubber coupler connecting main pump to drain pump. GE and Sears sites only showed the full pump assembly with coupler... out of stock. Replacing the rubber part was easy at 1/10th the price! Read more

Replaced pump and discharge hose. Was amazed at how fast we got the parts. Wished the discharge hose end in sink was like original. Had to take off old, clean out glue and attach to new. This was hardest part of deal. Read more
