I purchased 2 new light rocker switches, Because the heating element rocker switch was unavailable. First I removed the power source for safety. Then I simply pulled each switch out individually with a flathead screwdriver for leverage. I simply unplugged the wires from the old rocker switch, discarded the old rocker, plugged the wires into the new rocker switch, and pushed the new switch appropriately back into the control panel. First, it was going to cost $95 for an appliance guy just to look at it! • No hot or cold water

I tested the Atc. mid level switch, with my multi tester and found it was not sending enough current to the cold water inlet valve, so it would not open and let cold water in. I replaced the switch, (it was a snap) literally it snapped in place. replace the front face and turned the water back on and plugged in the washer, and turned it on. 1) Ordered part. 2) Removed front panel by loosening the two screws at the bottom front. 3) Removed old Safety Switch/Lid Lock by disconnecting wires (plug and 2 female disconnects) 4) Reconnected all wires and reinstalled switch. 5) Replaced front panel. 6) Tested Unit. 7) FYI - I found that the locking mechanism stays locked until cycle completely finishes on its own. I replaced both the probe and temp control. The problem came in calibrating the new control, the instructions that came with control did not factor in a double oven, called back and talked to Michael at tech support and he found proper instructions, walked me through the process and sent me a PDF file with all information needed. Initially performed troubleshooting over the phone with Bosch customer support and did preliminary research on the web. Ultimately had to call out service technician to isolate/confirm problem.
