Genuine Mtd part

Part Number: 917-04861
In a snowblower, the driveshaft is connected to a part called a worm gear. The worm gear turns the auger blades which eject the snow. The worm gear is connected to the worm shaft, which causes the auger blade to turn rapidly. Eventually, the incredible torque inside the machine, plus the occasional bumps and bruises experienced by the machine in operation and when being stowed, may cause the worm gear to malfunction. When the snowblower is erratic in its operation and fails to remove snow completely, there is a good chance the problem is the worm gear. To replace the worm gear, remove the housing to get to the worm shaft. Remove the entire worm assembly. Next, remove the blower fan and remove the worm gear. Grease the auger assembly before installing the new gear. Reverse the order to reassemble. While the snowblower is disassembled, it's the best time so exam the auger, driveshaft, sheer bolts, and tires for wear. You may find other parts that need to be updated. Make sure to replace the worm bolt and any other necessary parts with a genuine OEM manufactured part such as this one. This gear can be used in a number of snowblowers, including machines made by Yard Machines, Craftsman, Bolens, Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Ryobi, Montgomery Wards, Huskee, and MTD. Part sold individually.

This is a brake puck intended for use with lawnmowers. It is made from durable material and is part of the brake assembly. The purpose of the brake puck is to create pressure on the brake disk whenever the brake pedal is pushed. This part is essential to ensuring the lawnmower stops when a user presses down on the brake. Over time, the brake puck will start to wear down and may need to be replaced. One of the indications that the brake puck needs to be replaced is a squealing sound that occurs when the brake pedal is pressed. This happens because the brake puck wears down, and metal is able to rub against metal. If the problem isn't fixed, it can cause additional issues with the lawnmower. The brake puck should be replaced using a socket set and wrench set. This brake puck is designed for use in lawnmowers manufactured by Craftsman, Toro, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Murray, Yard Machines, MTD, Huskee, Bolens, Yard-Man, and MasterCut. It is sold as an individual part. The puck is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Genuine Husqvarna part

Part Number: 532403849
This pinion gear is an essential part of the steering assembly as it translates the rotation of the steering shaft into vertical motion. The pinion gear travels along the drivetrain, which pushes the wheels either forward or backward, causing the mower to turn. Without a functioning pinion gear, the mower will no longer steer. A pinion gear's teeth can slowly wear away through repeated use, causing it to begin slipping. When this happens, the operator will no longer be able to turn their mower as effectively or possibly not at all. This can be dangerous for the operator and they should stop mowing immediately. With most push lawn mowers, the pinion gear is located inside the wheel well. To replace it, simply remove the wheel and mounting washer, pop off the retaining ring, and remove the pinion. Reassemble and test the forward motion of the wheel. This genuine replacement OEM part is compatible with a number of lawn mowers from Poulan, Jonsered, Husqvarna, and Weed Eater. It comes sourced from the original manufacturer and does not include any additional hardware.

This clutch collar is a genuine MTD part, sold individually. This clutch collar can be used as a replacement part in a tiller. Genuine Husqvarna part

Part Number: 530071893
This chain brake is made to connect above the drum of a chainsaw. It has a metal band that goes around the drum and a handguard that also connects to the brake. When the guard is pressed forward, the brake band tightens on the clutch drum, making the chain stop immediately.
The brake is pre-assembled and consists of both metal and plastic parts. The spring, brake band, and linkage are all metal, and the housing is plastic. A common chain brake problem is the brake band becoming worn out or damaged. This causes the brake to no longer stop the chain fast enough or at all. This can be incredibly dangerous, so it’s important to check the brake regularly.
Installing a new chain brake is straightforward with this genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Just remove the clutch cover assembly, take off the old chain brake, and screw in the new kit. Be sure to wear gloves and let the engine cool completely before making repairs. Compatible with Craftsman, Poulan, and Poulan Pro chainsaws. Sold individually.

My Poulan pro chainsaw was overheating and locking up. Jeff E. • Twin Lake , MI • June 25, 2018
Took the side cover off, noticed the chain brake assembly was damaged from the heat. Also after removing the clip securing the clutch drum I couldn't remove it. Had to use my biggest flat head screwdriver to force the drum off. The inner bearing was shot and the outer rim was worn with a lip on the bottom, reason it wouldn't come off the clutch. Because the parts were so worn out disassembly was difficult, but the new parts went on quickly. Soon I was back in business and the saw is working...
