Replaces a cracked, loose, or worn microwave door handle. Restores a secure grip for opening and closing the door. Quick DIY fix for broken handles.
I used a putty knife to remove the black plastic cover on the inside of the door to expose the screws to the handle. Then using a Phillips screw driver, I removed the top and bottom screws to remove the handle. The bottom screw was stripped so I had to us a pair of pliers to grip the broken plastic handle to remove the screw. Replaced handle and tightened screws, snapped ring back in place. Snapped the inter door back on and than added the frame trim back on. Putting it back... Read more

This was a very easy repair. I watched the video from Appliance Parts Pro and then followed the same steps. I took my time and the only issue was that I had to flip the handles from the first installation so that the trim would fit better. The replacements look like they should be able to go either way, but they were definitely directional. Read more
Handle assembly replaces a damaged oven door handle to restore a secure, comfortable grip for opening and closing the door. Matches OEM fit to keep the door operating safely and reliably.
It was an easy fix. I simply removed the microwave door lining with a putty knife, which gave me access to the handle's two screws. I unscrewed and removed the remnants of the broken handle and then fastened the new handle in place. The only trouble I encountered involved the two replacement screws that came with the new handle. After trying to screw them into place, I discovered that they were too two long. I used the existing screws instead. Read more
