After an over spill on the range one day, half the buttons on our control panel no longer worked. Well the bake button worked so we kept using that and only using the oven on 350 degrees for almost a year. Tried to replace the temperature probe first without testing with ohm meter; decided to take a chance. I then ordered the EOC timer/oven control. Now works great and also gained the seconds timer along with minute timer that was not stock with the first timer. Happy man; didn't have to pay the labor to install the parts, the videos gave me the confidence that I could complete the repair. Read more

I read that the controller and probe controlled the oven temperature. Also read if replacing controller you should replace the overlay. So I ordered all three parts and installed myself with no problem. I took a photo with my phone prior to unplugging wires so I knew the right way to plug the wires into the new controller. Works like new. Only need a nut driver and screwdriver to repair. Job from star to finish approximately 30 minutes. Read more

From the rear of the stove, remove the cover for the heating element / lock actuator (left side, 2 screws), remove the upper panel (8 perimeter screws & 4 centerline screws).
