Unplugged the stove. I had to remove mounting screws from under front panel. Then Remove the side panels in order to remove the trim. Under the trim there are two gold screws that hold the front panel in place. Unplug the membrane switch and remove the 4 screws that hold it in place. mount the new membrane switch and use plug it in. Then replaced all screws. Plugged stove back in. It was very easy. First, researched the problem online and found a great video on YouTube which clearly showed the same problems we were having. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the new Front Control Panel for about $230 along with a new oven door gasket for about $20 (YouTube video talks about how heat escapes quite easily and it is best to replace the gasket often). I read that the controller and probe controlled the oven temperature. Also read if replacing controller you should replace the overlay. This is an oven with keypad directly above oven door. And needed to replace the keypad and housing. Pretty easy fix. first turn oven off at breaker and unplug unit. Second pull off top burner knobs and remove 2 screws that are hidden behind each knob. 4th remove housing screws (1 screw on each side of housing and 4 screws on bottom of housing). 5th pull out housing and disconnect all wire connectors from mother board.
