This piece fails due to poor design as the weak point of the part you grab to open the dishwasher door. This defect has been reported by a number of owners as a common failure point on this model dishwasher. The replacement of the arm took a total of 3 minutes, all I needed was a nut driver for the easy job, taking the old arm out and putting the new one in, exact replacement , I appreciate you getting the part out as fast as you did. I first thought the leak came from the pump assembly rear o ring. I was wrong. The water was leaking from the pump. The pump assembly was shipped in 1 1/2 days with 2 more o rings. I lubed the o rings with dish soap, they slid in perfectly. reinstalled the clamp and screws and was ready to reinstall the dishwasher. Worked great. Next time I will buy the pump the first time. Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. Replaced the tracks. You need to pull the dishwasher out for this since the screws holding them are on the outside. Not super complicated in my case since my dishwasher didn't require disconnecting water hose or power wires to pull out (there was enough slack behind). Read more

I did not see the old ones fall out, so I was not sure the exact product placement within the rail, which was frustrating, to say the least. For the next person's benefit....these slide into the MIDDLE of the rail that is attached to both sides of the dishwasher. Not the front, not the back, but the middle! This was a pretty easy fix. Removed the screws around the perimeter of the inside cover of the door and pressed the outer door cover upward to release it from slots retaining it. There are four wires to remove (2 for the detergent door release and 2 for the rinse agent release). Removed the 6 screws retaining the dispenser assembly and inserted the new one. Reassembly is simply in reverse order. Problem solved for less than the cost of a service technician's call! Read more

Found the correct USA made OEM part from Appliance Pros, and installed it on my new Dishwasher. The use of this correctly manufactured Adapter prevented any damage to the threads of the dishwashers inlet solenoid valve which is made of a plastic material. If I had forced the after market adapter onto the solenoid valve instead of ordering the OEM adapter; it would have ruined the threads on the plastic solenoid valve resulting in the need to purchase a very expensive replacement valve. ...
