First off I want to say Appliance Part Pros rock! I have used them for purchasing repair items for other appliances in the past, so when my washer started making weird noises this was my go to source. I thought my problem was likely pump motor related as the water wasn't draining and I could hear the sound of the pump trying to work. After reviewing what others who had similar situations found to be the problem I took a gamble and decided to get the drain pump. Some who had that problem... Read more
Dishwasher won't drain or shows E24/E25 error? The drain pump removes water after wash cycles. Moderate DIY repair with video guide available.
Water was left in the bottom of the dishwasher after each time we ran it and the dishes were no longer getting clean. Also, there was always soap left in the dispenser. I took the DW completely apart and determined the water was not being forced out of the discharge tube and was merely draining via gravity. I ordered a replacement drain pump and removed the entire motor/pump assembly from under the DW. Once the pump was replaced and the DW was put back together, the water now was forced out... Read more

I had an appliance repair guy come and he told me it was possibly the vent assembly but if changing it didn't fix the problem it would be the control board next. He felt it was not worth the money to repair because he would have to disconnect everything just to get to the vent on the right rear top of the dishwasher. When i took the DW out thinking i had to buy a new one i saw this part was stuck open and covered in limescale deposits and grime.I ordered the part from appliance pros and payed... Read more
Dishwasher not draining or water left in tub? The drain pump assembly removes wastewater during cycles. DIY repair typically takes about 1 hour.
I very seldom respond to requests for feedback like this but definitely feel moved to do so in this case. When our 8 year old dishwasher started acting up my initial reaction was to simply replace it. I wasn't sure what was wrong, nor if I would be able to find the right part once I did figure out the problem. The troubleshooting advice on this website was spot on and I quickly figured out what needed to be replaced. The repair videos were easy to follow and the parts were here two days... Read more

The hardest part was getting on my knees to do the repair/replacement. It was obvious debris wasn't being filtered out when the water was recirculated. I noticed the accumulator wasn't seating right and found the plastic clips on the backside were bent and worn. The new part came within a day and a half. Everything either unscrewed and snapped together with no tools. You may want to use a flat screwdriver to take the upper arm tube feed loose from its clips but it can be done by hand. Done... Dishes coming out dirty or spotty? A clogged sump filter lets food particles recirculate. This filter traps debris for cleaner dishes. DIY install.
My daughter and I went to Youtube and found an extremely well presented video on how to clean our exact make and model of dishwasher. We live in a newly rented house, new to us, not new. The dishwasher was an unholy nightmare of filth, clogged filters, calcium deposits coating and blocking in literal heaps, discovered when taken apart. The miracle really was that the dishwasher cleaned at all. We cleaned and scraped everything thoroughly, the fine filter and the sump filter as well but decided... Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't spray water or makes humming sounds. This circulation pump and motor assembly repair is lengthy but not difficult.
Dishwasher made a humming sound but no water was circulating around. Searching around, I decided that it was either the inlet valve or the pump/impeller. I started with the inlet valve since it’s an easier repair. It didn’t work, no problem, now I have a spare. I then changed the pump and motor assembly. When I got the old one out, the impeller was broken along with a crack in the plastic housing. The repair took about 3 hours following along with the video. The dishwasher now works like... Read more

I hated to call a repair Guy, because by the time it takes them to do the service call and then order the part, then schedule another appointment. It would be at least two weeks.
