So all of a sudden the dishwasher stops working, "0E error"on the panel. Did some google searches and found that it might be the filter, which I did not know needed to be changed, or worse, the motor. Took the filter off per online tutorial (easy) and mopped up all the stagnant water. Poking around, I find the small rubber check valve that has broken. Had to fish it out with tweezers. Ordered a new motor from ApplicancePartsPro. Initial shipment arrived damaged, but ApplicancePartsPros quickly sent me a replacement. Replaced entire pump & motor assembly. Before doing the repair, I also noticed that the fill hose was crimped. This dishwasher has never filled with quite enough water, so that's why! Replaced the water inlet valve just to be sure. Dishwasher is running better than ever! Read more

The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more

I stood by the dishwasher as it went through the cycles and noted the noise only happened during the drain processes. To make this repair you have to take the dishwasher completely out from under the counter. (NOTE: print the schematic to help guide you to the location of the part and connections.) Replaced with a new Inlet Sump [WD18X213]. It was a little tedious, attaching the Inlet Sump, back to the pump, because I did the job with the dishwasher in place (not pulled out). My dishwasher was plumbed with copper pipe, so I really didn't want to upset that. I ordered a new motor through ApplianceParts Pros.com and had the new part within 5 days. The entire replacement took approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The repair was relatively simple and straight forward. By doing the work myself I saved over $250. Originally a GE technician quoted a price of $489 to replace the motor to repair the dishwasher. Removed and replaced diverter motor. Ops check good, no more leaking. I'm guessing the seal was the problem but diverter ruined (water residue) from leaking over the last 5 years??? This seal is only available if you buy the tub so followed another review - removed diverter then gently pried out the seal, cleaned and then lubed with silicone grease. Also turned the seal 180 degrees or the opposite way before reinstalling the diverter and then wrapping it all back under the counter. Read more

Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly.
