Dishwasher Valve

I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing. Ordered a new flood switch and activation stem from Aplliance Parts Pros.com. Order was delivered in about 3 days. Installed new switch and stem in about 15 min. Removed front kicker panel with two screws, the switch was just inside the panel secured with two screws. remove the electrical connector, removed screws, replace the two new parts..put the screws back in place and ran the washer...no overflows. I replaced the drain pump, drain hose, and sump filter. Repairs took me about 2 hours. I just followed the advice from the videos which are great by the way. I had to pull the washer back out to tighten the drain hose connection but my washer is working like new again. Read more

After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Ordered the part and it was shipped that day, as promised. Pulled the dishwasher out (which was the hardest part of the repair). The pressure sensor switch is a changed out with a small flat blade screw driver to release two snap clips. The inlet valve is changed out with three screws and on hose... Read more

The indications made me think the dishwasher was not shooting water. I checked the water valve with a voltmeter and it was getting power to open. I disconnected the line to make sure the water line was not plugged. Then I bypassed the door switch and ran the dishwasher with the door open and did not see the water filling which pointed to the inlet valve. I ordered the valve which came quickly.
