My husband unscrewed the the glide bucket and easily attached the new one. It was however somewhat difficult to re-attach the mechanism behind the ice bucket (that turns the auger) to the glide bucket. He finally figured out that a screw had also snapped off from the glide bucket and was still attached to the mechanism. Once he figured that out he got it re-attached easily.
