Checked and cleaned vent which was in need of cleaning, but not too bad (I do not consider this a primary causal detail, but can be a problem, so clean yours). Replaced Hi-Limit Thermostat (safety thermostat) after confirming the circuit was open with ohm meter. We watched a "youtube" video on how to fix a fridge door seal and even though this particular model fridge was not the same...it helped to see how to fix it. It took me 20 minutes to remove and replace the new door seal. The part ordered was ordered and delivered next day which was great!! Read more

Removed and replaced 3 door switches and mounting bar that holds switches plastic gets brittle with age and each switch comes out slightly different from each other, the chances of breaking a mounting pin is very easy. care should be taken when snapping mounting bar back into place to insure top latch and bottom latch locate properly insure bar is proper aligned when tightening screws their is free play in mounting bracket that could affect door properly engaging switches. Pulled the washer apart (using your videos as a refresher) and found that the plastic coupling between the motor and the transmission had failed. Searched for parts vendors and found your site. Ordered the coupling on-line and went back down to clean up the machine. In the cleaning process I found a damaged thrust washer for the upper agitator and broken drive dogs for that same agitator. • Takes too long to dry

After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Removed 2 screws from mullion strip heater and slid it up off the tabs at top and bottom. Unhooked the plug and removed it. Verified proper mullion heater and then plugged wiring connection back together, positioned slide clips back in line and slid mullion down onto the clips. Tucked the wiring back into opening positioned cover back in place and reiinstalled the 2 screws.
