Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Kitchen Aid range. The bake and broil burners would not ignite.   Johnathon M. • Olympia , WA • January 05, 2022

I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick. My gas range is a Kitchenaid kgsk901sss02. I had a LOT of trouble finding where the spark module is located, and eventually found a schematic that shows it's location behind the front control panel of the oven. Upon taking the... Read more

Kitchenaid Control Board
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10756692

This motor control board is created for use with washing machines. It's located inside the washing machine, where users can change settings and start or stop the appliance. It is tasked with regulating how quickly the washer spins during a cycle. Wear and tear or damage can cause the motor control board to malfunction. This may make it impossible for the washer to agitate or spin. If this happens, a replacement will need to be made.To replace this part, start by unplugging the appliance. Once the area is safe, the bottom front panel should be removed. This will provide access to the original motor control board. Pull on the motor control board until the wires can be reached. The position of these components should be noted before taking out the part. Replace with a new motor control board and replace the wires. This motor control board is designed to fit washing machines made by Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and KitchenAid. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It's sold as a single part.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Whirlpool duet washing machine 7mghw9100mw1 with f06 error code   Isaac G. • Mcallen , TX • November 03, 2014

We started getting the F06 code when on the normal cycle it was time to Rinse/Spin, pointing to a speed/tachometer issue on the motor. After several attempts of unplugging from power and restarting the cycle it would eventually start working for the rest of the laundry session. The Whirlpool technician after a brief look on the underside determined it was the motor and had to be replaced, even tough all troubleshooting tests on the motor were ok. I insisted that the probability was much higher... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Ice maker stopped working   Mary K. • Chesapeake Beach , MD • August 06, 2018

Bought new optic control boards, both the emitter and the receiver. The repair process was so simple. The KitchenAid repair tech came out to diagnose our issue. He was only going to come back and install a new emitter. They wanted a lot of money to do the repair. They were going to charge us $257 just for the part (emitter board). Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The defrost heater would not work   John R. • Lumberton , MS • May 21, 2019

The refrigerator was given to me and hasn't defrosted since it was new. I found the defrost timer had a burnt spot on the circuit board. After installing a new timer, the refrigerator would trip the circuit breaker in my house when it entered defrost mode. I found that the pink wire running from the control board all the way to the thermostat was shorted somewhere between the two parts, inside the refrigerator. I ran a new "pink" wire and all is good. The 20 year old unit still serves us well, looks good and has been kept in good repair. The condenser fan had stopped so I removed, cleaned and oiled that motor. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You When the dishwasher would start it's wash cycle the motor would start for a second and turn off   Ruben M. • Naperville , IL • April 21, 2014

I initially purchased a door switch, thinking that it would solve the problem. I replaced the switch by removing the top 6 star screws, removing the component cover and removing one of the door switches (using a 3/16 socket) with the new one that I bought but I still had the problem.
