Seals the ice dispenser drive shaft to prevent water leakage into the ice bucket. Replace if ice freezes together or water drips from dispenser.
My refrigerator was not dispensing ice. I could hear the motor activating but noticed the ice auger was not turning. My old drive shaft was stripped on both ends. Video was very helpful and it was an easy fix for someone with little handyman experience. Received my order much faster than expected! The parts arrived the next day and paid for the standard shipping charge. I live in Texas. Read more
Seals mixer transmission housing to prevent grease leaks. Replace if you notice grease on the mixer body or attachment shaft. Confirm fit with your model.
This time I replaced the front and rear bearings and thrust bearing and all the gears. The hardest part is thoroughly cleaning out all the old grease. After re-greasing and assembly mixer ran like new. I wish a more robust worm gear was available. A snap ring plier is a must for this job. Read more
Seals freezer door to prevent warm air infiltration and ice buildup. Replace if you feel cold air leaking or see frost accumulation. Confirm fit with model.
Did some online research and everything pointed to the fact that moisture was getting into the freezer and therefore the seal was not doing it's job. I ran my finger along the seal and sure enough I detected cold air coming out of one corner of the seal. I ordered the appropriate part from Appliance Parts Pros (APP) but decided to test my diagnosis by installing thin weather stripping in the affected area. I checked the freezer the next day and saw no accumulation of any more Rime ice so... Read more

Foam seal prevents air leaks around the blower housing in your dryer. Replace if worn, compressed, or causing reduced airflow. Confirm fit by model.
Our 19 year old Whirlpool dryer quit heating. After checking the thermal fuse, I found the ignitor electrically open. I bought an ignitor at a local store as there was a national holiday the next day and I did not want the dryer inoperative waiting several days for shipping. I can say AppliancePartsPros is MUCH cheaper for the identical Whirlpool genuine part. While changing the ignitor, I noticed there was an excessive amount of lint in the dryer, which was caused by worn drum seals. I ordered... Read more

We watched a "youtube" video on how to fix a fridge door seal and even though this particular model fridge was not the same...it helped to see how to fix it. It took me 20 minutes to remove and replace the new door seal. The part ordered was ordered and delivered next day which was great!! Read more

Prevents water leaks around the transmission shaft in your washer. Replace if you notice water on the floor or oil seepage. Confirm fit with your model.
In reality, this turned into a full-on rebuild project - with several parts orders, not just a simple repair. But I have to give credit: The parts listings with pictures on the AppliancePartsPros web site were really useful in figuring out what was going on inside the machine, and what parts I would need. Also: The repair videos were critical for me to be able to ensure I was reassembling everything correctly. Shout out to Simon, who was featured in several of the repair videos. His "gorgeous... Seals the dryer door to prevent heat loss and maintain drying efficiency. Replace if cracked, torn, or causing uneven drying. Confirm fit with model.
I replaced the gasket. Removing the old one was not easy. I used a razor knife to cut out most of it. And then I used rubbing alcohol to soften the remaining glue and scrapped it out with a small blade screwdriver Read more

Checked out You tube video. Easy tune up. One gasket was damaged and I did not notice that the brush holders has no brushes. I believe a quick call to Appliance parts pros will fix this, besides I need a few more parts. I expect to get another 20+ years from this KitchenAide mixer, once repairs are competed. Seals your refrigerator's right-hand door to prevent air leaks and maintain temperature. Replace if torn, cracked, or not sealing properly. Confirm fit.
I searched online for replacement parts and Appliance Parts Pros had the part in stock. Before I ordered the part, I watched the video to see if I could handle the repair. I ordered the part and soaked the gaskets with warm water in the tub. The old gaskets had a much simpler setup, so no cutting was involved. I simply pulled the old gasket out of the track without issues, and installed the new one with finger pressure. Per the video, I took both doors off. However, due to the design, I could... Read more

We first emptied out the freezer to another freezer, turned off the refrigerator, and let it defrost. We ordered a freezer door gasket from Appliance Parts and it arrived within a few days. We watched the video on how to replace it, followed the directions, and the gasket was successfully replaced. However, while the freezer was off, I cleaned the inside. Unfortunately, we turned it on before it completely dried and the water in the tracks caused the drawers to stick. Now we have turned... Read more
Seals the agitator cap to prevent water leaks into the agitator assembly. Replace if you notice leaking during wash cycles. Verify fit with your model.
I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. I studied the parts diagram for the washer tub assembly and concluded the source of the leak almost had to be the outer tub's Centerpost Gasket. It was really the... Read more

I followed a video to remove the inside door panel and gasket. Putting the new gasket was as easy as the video said. The only problem was ice had built up on the inside of the door panel that needed to be defrosted. Read more
