Lg Door Gasket Assembly
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: ADX72930461

The Gasket Assembly Door is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. This gasket forms a seal around the refrigerator door, preventing warm air from entering and cool air from escaping, thus maintaining optimal temperature inside the refrigerator.

Causes of a bad gasket assembly can include wear and tear over time, damage from frequent opening and closing of the door, or degradation from exposure to various elements. A compromised gasket can lead to inefficiency in the refrigerator's cooling performance.

Symptoms of a bad gasket assembly include:

  • Warm air entering the refrigerator
  • Increased energy consumption
  • Frost buildup inside the refrigerator
  • The door not sealing properly or being difficult to close

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

By: Lg
Part Number: ADX72930460

The Door Gasket Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG refrigerators. This part seals the door and maintains a thermal barrier. Proper compression provides energy efficiency.

Causes of a faulty gasket assembly may involve deterioration as adhesive softens from repeated compression. Mineral deposits accumulated over extended use could also harden material reducing flexibility.

Symptoms of a problematic gasket include:

  • Cool air felt leaking from the door
  • Moisture visible on seal interface areas
  • Temperature fluctuations

This part is also compatible with some Kenmore refrigerator models.

Lg Door Boot Seal
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: AGM30030702

The Door Boot Seal is an OEM component specifically designed for LG front-loading washing machines. Located between the outer drum tub and inner cabinet panels, flexible thermal seals help contain moisture during heavy-duty wash cycles.

Causes of a bad door boot seal can include cracks developing due to impact or flex stress, along with air leaks resulting from compression damage or material wear over extended use.

Symptoms of a bad door boot seal include:

  • Standing water or puddles accrued beyond the spinning tub perimeter
  • Visible moisture escaping between cabinet seams and door frame edges
  • Seal detaching from the drum or inner wall surfaces allowing air gaps

Replacing with an authentic LG boot restores a tight moisture barrier critical to draining washtubs fully. Kenmore and Samsung front-loaders utilizing LG designs also source this precise seal as original equipment.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Noisy bearings   Gerald D. • Belle Vernon , PA • October 18, 2014

Repair went fairly smoothly by following the EXCELLENT how-to video provided. I had only a few issues and suggestions. 1. Because many of the screws and fasteners are of multiple sizes, I would recommend laying them out in a muffin tray or on a paper with labels for where they go back. 2. After removing the weights and prepping to remove the shock absorbers, after the front ones were removed, the tub tilted so far the rear shock absorber separated. The friction pads fell out. It was easy... Read more
