I went to the GE parts store online and ordered another one. Thank goodness it arrived pretty quick. It took about three minutes to unscrew one screw and pop the messed up one out and put in the new one in. It was really easy. Now everything works again, No more constant beeping! I can get water or ice, control the fridges temperature,and my milk is good and cold again LOL. Read more

I replaced the old control panel with a new one. I also changed out the door seal to help prevent the control panel from going bad a second time. It was the heat from the oven getting to the keypad on the control panel that caused it to go bad. Read more

I ordered a new Panel-Control. The old one was removed easily by taking out six screws. The old panel lifted, then tilted out. The electronic circuit board was disconnected and attached to the new panel. My new panel did not want to fit in properly at first. The replacement part was: CONTROL OVEN ERC3HP Part Number:WB27K10378 It looks like this superseded the original part, so maybe the mfg knew about this issue? I could not find disassembly instructions so just went straight into it.
