The Pressure Switch Hose is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This hose connects the pressure switch to the washer tub, allowing the machine to detect water levels and ensure proper operation of the washing cycle.
Common causes of damage include cracks, holes, or clogs in the hose, which can occur due to wear and tear, exposure to harsh detergents, or foreign objects in the washing machine.
Symptoms of a bad pressure switch hose include:
- The washing machine not filling properly
- Overfilling or underfilling of water
- Error codes related to water levels
- The washer not advancing through cycles correctly
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
