Our oven went out because of a power failure while the oven was on. I purchased an ignitor from a local repair place but it still would not work. We were told it could be the control panel. We ordered another ignitor just in case and also the control panel. We put both parts in, turned on the gas and electric and the oven came right on, I am a very happy wife. Oven is a slide in. I pulled it out just a Few inches and removed 8 screws and Pulled the face down to expose the unit. The control unit had 4 screws and 4 Plugins. It only took me less than 10 Minutes to replace unit and slide back In place. Read more

So initial thought was bad bake igniter. I'bve replaced this before so I replaced it again and it wouldn't glow. Checked broil igniter and same thing, no glow. Checked voltage at molex connector for bake igniter and it went from 6.6v to 3.4v when triggered to glow -- well below the 120v expected. Ordered new clock/controller and overlay -- it shipped the next business day! Removed a handful of screws from the back panel to expose the clock/controller and removed/ replaced it with new... I repaired the problem by replacing the Power Board assembly and the daughter relay board. Not sure which one was the problem. Since I had it apart I replaced both. So far the unit is working like new. Everything was plug in, so I didn't have to worry about complex wiring. I took pictures prior to disassembly to make sure I got the reassembly right. I replaced the control board. Repair company wanted $395.00. I ordered the board for 140ish, 5 days later, 9 screws, 6 moduler plugs....working oven. The hardest part was pulling out the stove. Read more

Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem. When I spoke with Andrew he told me how to test the OHMS on the new and old element and they were both readying 26 OHMS. I then replaced the control panel for the clock and oven controls.
