It was a learning experience. First I turned off the power! I removed the lower kick plate, disconnected the drain hose and electrical connectors. This small plastic clip secures the tine rows to the pivot points on the dishwasher rack, allowing the tines to fold down or lock into the upright position. It snaps onto the rack rail and holds individual tine rows in place. Replace this clip if your rack tines are loose, won't stay upright, or have fallen off during a wash cycle.
