• Will not fill with water

Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. Replaced with new latch, took about 5 minutes. T25 torx screwdriver and flathead screwdriver needed. Read more

I had an appliance repair guy come and he told me it was possibly the vent assembly but if changing it didn't fix the problem it would be the control board next. He felt it was not worth the money to repair because he would have to disconnect everything just to get to the vent on the right rear top of the dishwasher. • Leaking

Ordered replacement drain hose, left hand panel of dishwasher removed (remove 2 screws in front left trim panel & friction fit clip at top back then slide up & off. This reveals the O-ring drain hose connection point. You need to remove the retainer block where the hose exits the appliance. Old hose pulls out and new hose pushes in. Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. The hardest part was getting on my knees to do the repair/replacement. It was obvious debris wasn't being filtered out when the water was recirculated. I noticed the accumulator wasn't seating right and found the plastic clips on the backside were bent and worn. The new part came within a day and a half. Everything either unscrewed and snapped together with no tools. You may want to use a flat screwdriver to take the upper arm tube feed loose from its clips but it can be done by hand. Done...
