Kitchenaid Parts

Looked up the parts list and diagram by serial number. Found the correct part numbers and ordered 2 crisper drawers, the meat drawer and the bar that holds bottles on the bottom shelf of the door. The diagram showed endcaps needed on the bar, but that was only for if the bar was for the freezer door. Parts were a little expensive, but we're beautiful and delivered in just a few days. Plastic drum was broken and wasn't pushing the ice through the crusher teeth. Received my part pronto and made the repair. Was an easy fix, took about 15 min from start to finish. Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

Took off the circulation pump and replaced the filter assembly. 2nd time I had to do it in 4 years. Read more

It was a learning experience. First I turned off the power! I removed the lower kick plate, disconnected the drain hose and electrical connectors. Then removed the discharge pump and heat sensor then loosened the 4 hold down arms/clamps. Then I opened the door and pulled the base up from the inside. Now to remove and replace the Pump Motor. Then reverse the process. If I were to do again, I'd pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its back. Read more

All I had to do is take off 4 screws from the top panel that holds the glass. 2 of the 4 are at the inner front of panel of the door and remaining 2 are on either side. Once that panel is removed you place the small 4 brackets on each hole then pop the glass in then put the black panel in then screw back all 4 screws and you start cooking Tango chicken. Read more

DIY. The delivery to Milwaukee took two days. The project was very easy and took about 1hr. The only tools required were a screw driver (electric) and a pliers. Just make sure your irganized with the screws so you don't lose any or mix up which ones go back in which holes. There's about 20 total screws. Very easy fix. Unplugged microwave, then lowered bottom panel, removed the two leads to the turntable motor, removed two screws attached to motor, removed old motor, put new spacer on motor stem, installed motor with same two screws, reattached the two wires, reattached panel ( after cleaning all the grease that built up over the last 6 years), plugged microwave in and good as new!
