I replaced the latch and handle assembly. It's easy when you see how it goes together. Unscrew the two screws under the front edge of the stovetop, have a helper lift the stovetop up, unscrew the six screws holding the metal plate down and remove the plate, unplug the wires connected to the latch switch, and unscrew the two front screws holding the latch assembly in place. Replace the latch assembly and put it back together in reverse. Read more

The water dispenser stopped working on my Sears Kenmore (Whirlpool) side-by-side refrigerator and after much research on the web I purchased the parts that commonly failed for this condition. I should have first taken the dispenser assembly apart but I didn't--it looked a little too intimidating to do twice. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more

Using a punch and a big hammer I forced the lock through the housing, replaced the old lock with the new one and was done!!!! Really easy!!! Read more

Worked with phone person at AppliancePartsPros and determined problem could be either the latch motor or the circuit board. Ordered parts for both the latch motor and the control circuit board. Since a relay on the board was clicking and the motor would not budge, I installed them both and oven is working again!! Presumably because of the number of warehouses, I ordered the parts on Sunday and they arrived Tuesday morning. Great help! Great speed! Perfect matches on the parts!! Read more
