Even though I didn't pay for two day shipping, the part was shipped the next day and received the following day (Saturday), outstanding service. Installing the piece was quite simple, requiring removing two screws, slipping the old part off of two retaining clips and disconnecting one wire connector. Reverse this to install new part. The dishes were not drying on our 5yr old LG dishwasher. After removing the front door cover, I verified that the blower motor was operational and the vent was not blocked. I removed the diswasher from the cabinet, accessed the heating element from the bottom of the unit, and found the heating element did not have continuity. After unplugging the dryer from the wall socket, I used a screwdriver ( Phillips ) to remove the light cover fixture. This gave me access to the bulb which had burned out. I first use my fingers to remove the bulb but the base came lose from the glass bulb. I then used a needle nose pliers to remove the metal base of the bulb from the light fixture. The hot inlet valve was dripping water, replaced it. Water and soap were coming out of the vent pipe. The new Float assembly had a shorter shaft than the old Float Assembly I was replacing. I did install the new Float Assembly and cleaned the vent hose where the float seats and I haven't seen any more water on the floor. Both repairs were made easy by watching your repair videos. Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. Found the right part on this site, replaced it with little effort. While in there I saw a similar hose and decided to replace it as its time was probably up too. Ordered grille cover and filter guide to replace broken parts. Easily removed grille cover and filter guide with star tip screw driver. Broken parts slipped or popped right out. Slid in new filter guide then grille cover. Put the 4 screws back in. Had a little difficulty matching up screw holes in the plastic parts with the holes in the metal of the dryer itself but once they all lined up the repair was quickly finished. Was able to diagnose problem at AppliancePartsPros.com by entering the model #. This is apparently a common problem with this Refrigerator Replaced Light Socket Assembly, Lamp Reflector, Lamp Case and Lamp Cover. Also replaced the main circuit board (not sure if this was necessary).
