I was cleaning the supply hose filter screen constancely, I had no Idea there was filter screens in the pump intakes on the machine. once I found them and replaced them, I had plenty of water, so don't buy supply hoses with the screens in them until you check to see if your machine has them already. Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. Found the right part on this site, replaced it with little effort. While in there I saw a similar hose and decided to replace it as its time was probably up too. Was able to diagnose problem at AppliancePartsPros.com by entering the model #. This is apparently a common problem with this Refrigerator Replaced Light Socket Assembly, Lamp Reflector, Lamp Case and Lamp Cover. Also replaced the main circuit board (not sure if this was necessary). After watching the video carefully and taking notes for step-by-step dismantling of the LG washer, I took it apart methodically placing each item on a table in the order removed. I was able to remove and replace the bearings with no problems following the tips and tricks. We knew at least one door hinge cable assembly or hinge spring was broken (the door started falling down rapidly and became heavy to close) so we ordered two of each since we had read to go ahead and replace the damaged items on both sides. Removed 8 screws from bottom panel on microwave. Pulled two prong plug off old motor. Read supplied voltage off motor decal and tested for it. Deemed motor to be bad and changed it. Works great. After tearing old motor apart it seems a liquid got in there from inside microwave. No seal on motor. Bad design flaw in my opinion. Read more

If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it. After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. And rear drum panel in order to replace worn part. Reassembled in 15minutes to clean and vacuumed dryer. Works great now. Read more

Replaced all three dampers and then replaced locking gaskets for the top spring mounts for the drum, replaced the old feet pads I had and works like a charm! Read more

The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work.
