The Check Valve is an OEM part for LG dishwashers. This component plays a crucial role in preventing backflow of water into the dishwasher, ensuring proper drainage and efficient operation during the washing cycle.
Causes of a bad check valve can include clogging due to food particles or debris, wear and tear over time, or damage from exposure to harsh chemicals or high water pressure. These factors can compromise the valve's ability to function correctly, leading to issues with water flow.
Symptoms of a bad Check Valve include:
- Water not draining properly
- Dirty water backing up into the dishwasher
- Unpleasant odors from standing water
- Incomplete cleaning cycles
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.
