Well brought range home and hooked up the gas, lots of clicking with sparks and low and behold range cooktop wouldn't turn on. Contacted several local places, & on line. However none carried the part or made it difficult, which I realized they just didn't know how to look for the part I wanted. I contacted appliance parts, & they immediately found it & it was not as expensive as other places who did not stock it to begin with. They sent it right away, & I received it in less than 3 days. I had no idea what the legs would look like, but the rep I talked to was VERY helpful and we narrowed it down to the ones I eventually purchased. Received them in a couple of days and they fit!! I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Took 10 minutes. Upnplug or turn the power off to the Refig/Freezer. One screw to take off the plastic cover plate where the light LED Assembly is attached and carefully unplug the LED Assembley from the Freezer and remove the cover plate from the top of the Freezer . Unscrew the old LED Assembly from the cover and install the new LED Assembly. Plug the LED Assembly into the Freezer and carfully insert plastic cover plate in the freezer and replace the cover pate screwscrew. Read more
