I originally called a local repair company. After waiting a week they told me they were unable to get the part and that it was back ordered!! I asked them to give me the part numbers...at which point he said..."you won't find them"! I went on line, found the parts with AppliancePartsPros, talked live chat to make sure I could get them and had them the next day!!! I then had the previous company come and install...for free!!!!! Ordered conversion kit from Appliance Parts Pros.com and installed it myself. Most difficult part of the repair, was the removal of the front casing of the dryer to access the location of venturi tube to be changed out. The instructions were helpful, but not specific enough for my dryer. The ice chute flap wasnt closing. 1. I turned off power 2, Pulled off facia around controls on freezer door,, you have to pull out the bottom part of the chute first , its clipped in 3. Disconnected the front panel 4. Unscrewed the next panel to allow access to the chute flap 5. Removed 1 screw holding complete flap and mechanism and replaced with new 6. Needed installation parts. I ordered the parts from the company I purchased the appliances from. A week went by and no parts, called, emailed and called again to find out when the parts would arrive to be able to Re-schedule the installation. I viewed the self help video on You Tube and checked the water pressure first. Once the water pressure was determined to be fine I ordered a new water inlet valve as recommended from the video. LG supplier did not have the recommended part and after checking on-line I found Appliance Parts Pros had just what I needed. The video from Appliance Plus Pros showed step by step on how to replace the water inlet valve. It took me approximately 15 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one.... Read more

Ordered boot, nozzle, and inner spring for boot. Would have ordered outer, but the schematic for parts made it very difficult to navigate to locate parts...24 hr/next day air and I have a happy wife. The only thing that would have made it easier, was having a pair of Spring Expansion pliers, be careful not to pinch inner boot! Used Youtube video as a walk through, completed in the fraction of the time if i hadnt watched! Read more

All it really took to fix it was to take off 3 screws and loosen one larger screw. It really was that easy but it took a lot longer to do because we took out a lot of screws that we would not have needed too. Read more

Called AppliancePartsPros because of good experiencing diagnosing problem with a dishwasher repair. We definitely are modest income amateurs! Same excellent response to our questions. Three possible causes. Used easy search menu to fine replacement parts. Bought all three, knowing that if all not needed, the others could be returned (within 365 days) for refund.
