Part Number: 216954200
This Temperature Controller regulates cooling by switching power to the compressor and related circuits to hold the set temperature. Replacing a failing controller restores accurate temperature control and reliable operation. What it does:
- Cycles cooling components to maintain the temperature you set
- Helps keep cabinet temperatures consistent for proper food storage
- Coordinates on/off operation to prevent overcooling or warm conditions
- Common failure symptoms: too warm or too cold, runs constantly or won't start, control/dial unresponsive
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing—this is a line-voltage control
- Access the control area, label or photograph wire positions, and move wires one at a time to the new controller
- Reuse existing mounting hardware and any knob/overlay as applicable
- After install, set to mid setting and allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize

Refrigerator not cooling and clicking sound every 25 minutes, had same problem on another refrigerator several years back so knew it was the start relay James G. • Huntington Beach , CA • September 06, 2021
Pulled the relay off of the condenser motor (3 pin connection) and removed 2 wire feeds. Reversed the procedure for the install. Ordered the new relay and decided to replace the run capacitor as well just to be safe. Appliance Parts Pros was a really good website to help identify the 2 part numbers and see pictures that confirmed they were the same as the original. Price was competitive with others.
