Fix a dishwasher that won't start or won't stay closed with this door latch kit. Straightforward repair in under 30 minutes with basic tools.
I turned off the power then removed the six or so screws from the back of the top panel. I marked the two front wires on the latch with tape so I would not get them confused. I removed the two screws holding the latch on--these take a six pointed star bit on the screw driver--the bit is in most screw driver sets with interchangeable heads. I then connected the wires to the new latach and put everything back together. The whole process took between ten and fifteen minutes. Read more
If your dishwasher door won't close or latch, or the handle broke, this door latch assembly fixes it. Remove inner door panel to access. DIY-friendly repair.
After finding the model number for my dishwasher, I looked on line for the part and ordered it. The part arrived next day. I was a little hesitant to tackle it myself, as I am a 67 year old female. However I decided I could do it and was all set until I found out that I needed a Torx screwdriver. This however was not going to stop me. At a trip to my neighbor I was able to find bit for a drill that would let me remove one screw. The next stop was to my favorite hardware store where I... Read more

Replace your cracked, broken, or missing microwave door handle. Installs on the outer door panel for secure grip when opening and closing the door.
Found the door easier to work on if it was removed from the microwave oven. That's easy - just lift and pull off. With the door flat on a table, took it apart, per a YouTube file. A broad knife putty knife (and a gentle touch) are critical. Unscrewed the "crumbs" of the failed handle. Reused the original screws (rather than the longer screws that came with the replacement handle). Attached the new handle. Put the door back together. Clicked the door back on the microwave. Range door handle that mounts to the oven door front panel. Replace if your handle is cracked, broken, or missing for safe access to your oven interior.
Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. This takes a bit more effort and the proper screwdriver, but creates the threads in the handle as you turn the screw. Kudos to A-P Pros for the quick processing and delivery of the order. Read more
