We knew at least one door hinge cable assembly or hinge spring was broken (the door started falling down rapidly and became heavy to close) so we ordered two of each since we had read to go ahead and replace the damaged items on both sides. Pulling the dishwasher, it was obvious we had a slow leak under it. We had a slow leak from the diverter motor area in the sump. Sure enough, it looked like the gasket around a shaft had to be the culprit. The gasket was attached to the sump assembly, or the motor. My refrigerator is 13 yrs old and began to build up frost in the ice cube shoot and the water tube began to freeze up over night. The flapper door was not closing completely. I simply removed the control panel by pulling up and out on the bottom edge, the edge is only about 1/8 inch thick, so don't reach in to far. I figured it was the valve, but searching on the Appliance Parts site, somebody said they fixed it by replacing the switch flood assembly. So I order both parts. The Switch Flood Assembly was easiest to replace, so I decided to try that first. When I pulled out the old assembly, I noticed it did not 'rattle', as the new one did. First I watched Youtubes and decided it was the lower control board, ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros, and got it within 2 days. Installed it and no change. Called Appliance Parts Pros to repair the help line and they were very helpful told me I needed the upper board (UI) so I ordered it got it also in 2 days installed it and everything works perfectly. In order to replace this, you must remove the "outer door". This service manual is a pretty good reference (page 37): http://members.msaworld.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/2013-DW-Service-Manual.pdf Note that this specific dishwasher has 12 screws that need to be removed before the outer door can be separated. Ordered a new screen and filter. While waiting for arrival, removed wax covered dishes. Carefully removed wax filled filter and screen cover. Stuffed paper towels in hole to absorb water and prevent wax from entering pump. Prayed ????wax had not entered pump. With plastic knife removed visible wax. Wiped out with paper towels. Used entire roll. Used hair dryer to melt remaining wax and wiped every inch of racks, wheels, glides, silverware holder, seal, floor and so forth. Oh yes I did. At 1:30... Read more

Dishwasher died after 1 year and two weeks after purchase! The Bosch tech arrived and recommended replacing the drain pump (as well as cleaning the filter in vinegar). Ordered pump from APPros and it arrived THE NEXT DAY! Took out old one.... installed new one... and it worked! The new pump fit perfectly. Read more

• Leaking

I thought it was the gasket so I ordered a new one. While waiting for it to arrive I read some other forums where I read that sometimes the air vent on the front could be dirty and cause leaking. I popped out that vent cover and it was clogged. Using an old toothbrush and a tiny paint brush I cleaned all of the gunk out. No more leak even with the old gasket in place. I'll save the new gasket for when I need it in the future. Read more

I determined that the gasket was pinched, leaking at corner. Ordered new gasket from this site (easy find with part diagram). Removed old gasket, replaced with new. Read more

Replaced the upper and lower racks. AppliancePartsPro shipped the racks fast and they are a perfect fit. I think they're even a better, stronger design then the factory originals. Read more

• Door won't close

Ordered the clips that we easy to find on line. They can within a few days..and replaced them myself..didn't wait for my husband. Hardest part was getting the end caps off the metal rack to replace the rollers and clips. They fit in there spmehow. I used a screwdriver to get them out. Rest was a piece of cake Lol Read more
