Obtained a replacement hose from App Parts Pros. Was actually an easy fix. The old hose is detached from the housing by just pulling it out(there are no clamps) with the assist of a screwdriver for leverage. The new hose then plugs in. Voila! Read more

First I watched Youtubes and decided it was the lower control board, ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros, and got it within 2 days. Installed it and no change. Called Appliance Parts Pros to repair the help line and they were very helpful told me I needed the upper board (UI) so I ordered it got it also in 2 days installed it and everything works perfectly. I very seldom respond to requests for feedback like this but definitely feel moved to do so in this case. When our 8 year old dishwasher started acting up my initial reaction was to simply replace it. I wasn't sure what was wrong, nor if I would be able to find the right part once I did figure out the problem. Purchased a replacement basket. First I visited the Sears website for a replacement part since the dishwasher was a Kenmore, but Sears did not carry the same basket that was original to the dishwasher. Their replacement was an open basket without dividers. You are the only company that I found that carries the exact part for the model of dishwasher. We knew at least one door hinge cable assembly or hinge spring was broken (the door started falling down rapidly and became heavy to close) so we ordered two of each since we had read to go ahead and replace the damaged items on both sides. While we were waiting on the order, the other side must have broken-the door became incredibly heavy and instead of falling open, started crashing down unless it was carefully lowered. I ordered replacement rollers and studs for my Ge Profile Dishwasher yesterday at 7:57am. I received the same today around 6pm! Snapped them into place in 5 minutes….They fit beautifully! Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?". Replace the sprayer in the middle of the dishwasher, the problem was the grommet on the back of it but it's not available individually. Read more

Removed two securing screws from side of dishwasher. Pulled out of cabinet careful to not over extend supply/drain/electric connections. Layed unit on side, removed two clamps from each end of drain pump as well as one electrical connection, removed bad pump, replaced connections and clamps, electrical connection. Ran a cycle while out of cabinet to ensure no leaks, replaced unit and screwed back into cabinet. Whole thing took 20 minutes. Read more

I bought the door and bottom seal and was already to go. Appliance Pro got the parts to me in 2 days. I read an article that said if the spray arm holes are blocked that this could cause a wave in the dishwasher that could cause the water to fly up to the inlet used for drying and the water could run down between the front and inside door appearing to be a leak.
