Replace your cracked, broken, or missing microwave door handle. Installs on the outer door panel for secure grip when opening and closing the door.
Found the door easier to work on if it was removed from the microwave oven. That's easy - just lift and pull off. With the door flat on a table, took it apart, per a YouTube file. A broad knife putty knife (and a gentle touch) are critical. Unscrewed the "crumbs" of the failed handle. Reused the original screws (rather than the longer screws that came with the replacement handle). Attached the new handle. Put the door back together. Clicked the door back on the microwave. The door was very simple to change out. I removed the 2 screws on top of the microwave and pulled the piece above the door down and out. There are tabs on the bottom of this piece that hold it in place along with the screws on top. After this was out of the way, changing the door was as simple as lifting up on the door and when the top peg was clear lean it out slightly to get the bottom peg out. Read more
