General Electric Guide

This left top rail assembly secures and aligns the appliance's top trim and control-area components, restoring a tight fit and stable mounting for the upper section. It replaces a worn or damaged left-side top rail to reduce play and noise. What it does:

• Supports and positions the left side of the appliance top/trim and control-panel area.
• Helps keep the top trim tight and aligned to prevent gaps or rubbing.
• Restores proper fit to stop rattling, vibration, or movement at the front/top edge.
• Provides the structural mounting points for adjacent trim or control components.

• One left top rail assembly.

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair.
• Access typically requires removing the cooktop or control panel trim; keep screws and fasteners organized.
• Confirm left/right orientation before final assembly and follow manufacturer torque/fastening recommendations.
• If corrosion or additional damaged fasteners are present, replace them to ensure secure mounting.

Frame slide guide for trash compactors. Mounts to the frame to guide the ram assembly during compression cycles. Replace if cracked, bent, or worn smooth.

Ram slide guide for trash compactors. This component guides the ram mechanism during compaction cycles. Replace if cracked, worn, or damaged.

This hose guide secures and centers the dryer vent hose to help keep airflow aligned and reduce stress on the hose connection. It helps prevent the vent hose from becoming pinched or disconnected during normal use. What it does:

• Holds the vent/duct hose in place to maintain proper airflow alignment
• Reduces hose kinks and rubbing that can cause wear or air leaks
• Helps limit vibration and hose movement that can loosen the connection
• Addresses symptoms such as a shifting or sagging vent hose, rattling, or reduced vent clearance

• Disconnect power and move the appliance to access the vent area before servicing
• Remove any necessary rear/access panels to reach the hose connection
• Secure the guide in the original mounting location using existing fasteners or screws
• Inspect the vent hose and connection for damage; replace any worn ducting or seals as needed
