The parts arrived in short time. Had to go to YouTube to learn how to get the door off. My range is about 2004 model. The YouTube video I found did not represent my installation but gave me enough information to remove the clip so the hinge could come free. Installing the handle was difficult to impossible to get the attaching screw in. I finally had to drill out the screw receptacle a bit to where I could get the screw in. 4 Torx screws on the panel at top seen when door open. This is an important repair, though it would have been easier to leave as it was. The control or selection panel is right on the front and is stressed each time you open it. If you feel the front panel is flexing more than it should, check this piece for broken tabs and replace if gone. Read more

Replacing the trim takes a little bit of alignment and light force. The trim slides over the glass panel of the door, with the glass sliding into plastic tabs. We kept the door nearly vertical (almost closed), lined up the tabs on the trim with the glass door, and used mild force to slide the trim down onto the glass door.
