Fix dryer that won't stop or shows tO error code. This moisture sensor assembly monitors drying cycles. Moderate DIY repair, 30-45 minutes.
Oven overheating or won't heat properly? This thermal limit switch monitors temperature and cuts power to prevent damage. Resets automatically when cooled.
Dryer stopping mid-cycle or not heating consistently? The cycling thermostat regulates drum temperature. DIY-friendly repair, typically takes 30 minutes.
I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on... Read more
This 250V 15A safety fuse protects the appliance's line circuit from overcurrent. When the original fuse has blown, replacing it can restore power and help safeguard internal components from further damage.
I replaced both the fuse and the latch. it started working smoothly even better the before. Read more
Dryer not heating? A faulty thermistor inlet fails to monitor air temperature, preventing proper heating cycles. Direct replacement restores function.
Installed new thermal overloads, great company to do business with. Shipping is lighting speed. Will do business again. Thank you Read more
This dryer inlet thermostat monitors the temperature of incoming air and cycles the heater to maintain proper drying temperatures. Replacing a failed thermostat can restore consistent heat, help prevent overheating, and improve overall drying performance.
This protector heater is a small heating element used with the overload/thermal protector in the motor or compressor circuit. It provides calibrated warmth so the protector trips correctly under heavy load, helping prevent overheating and protecting the unit. What it does:
I ordered the parts that I needed from you website and they came within two days . My son-in-law put them in and now I have heat. Thanks so much. Read more
Oven won't heat or element burned out? This high-temperature cut-out fuse interrupts power when temperatures exceed safe levels. Often fails with elements.
We bought both bottom elements for each oven. They installed and now work PERFECTLY! Thank you! Read more
Dishwasher won't power on? This inline fuse protects your dishwasher's wiring harness from electrical overload. Restores circuit protection quickly.
Fix oven overheating or F9 error codes with a thermal limit switch replacement. This safety shutoff prevents damage when temperature exceeds safe limits.
I replaced the cooling fan for the lower oven. This fan is located in the space between the top and bottom ovens. I also chose to replace both the BAKE and TCO thermostats. Read more
Air conditioner heater protector prevents condensation and nuisance trips in cool or humid conditions. Keeps sensitive components operating reliably.
This fixed thermostat switches near 60C to control a heat-managed circuit—often the oven's cooling/blower fan. Replacing a failed unit restores proper fan cycling and helps protect the control area from excessive heat during and after cooking.
Following the instructions that I received through the helpful research of the APP staff, I disconnected the power, disassembled the back of the oven, and accessed the hidden element. This involved bending parts of the sheet metal and cutting the insulation, so I was very apprehensive about doing this. Once I exposed the compartment that contains the element, I had difficulty extracting the old part and was really nervous about pulling hard to extract it - until I saw the damaged element. It... Microwave has no power or won't turn on? This fuse cartridge protects against electrical overload. Requires removing outer cover to access and replace.
Removed microwave from the built in cabinet (probably the hardest part) and took off top cover (screws on side and back). Had previously blown the power fuse 2 times in this microwave, so I checked the fuse first using an ohmmeter. This time fuse was good. Traced the power wires around to top side of microwave and saw the overheat "therm" switch. I believe the therm is installed there as a safety feature to open the power circuit to the microwave in case something was to overheat for any... Read more
Oven won't heat after self-clean cycle? A faulty limit switch prevents operation when stuck open. Tests quickly with a multimeter for continuity.
Fix a burner that overheats or won't turn off. This surface element limiter switch monitors temperature and prevents damage. Direct replacement part.
With the support of Appliance Parts Pros, I ordered 3 parts (plus glass stove top cleaner) that were suspected to be the cause of the problem for a total of $49.59. Easily replaced the Range Oven Sensor, $15.91, at the back of the interior oven & that was it! All oven features work fine & my wife set the oven for the clean cycle earlier today. So far, so good! Thanks for your help! Would recommend Appliance Parts Pros to anyone. Read more
