To replace the stove touch control panel was easy. Replace your dishwasher's front control keypad when buttons are worn, cracked, or the interface is damaged. Adhesive-backed assembly restores control panel.
Opened up door panel, unplugged ribbon cable from old keypad and plugged in new keypad without installing just to verify keypad was the problem. Start button on new keypad worked so I then removed old keypad which is basically just like peeling off a sticker. Next step was to remove leftover adhesive using solvent. This was most time consuming step of the repair. Once adhesive was removed I cleaned the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure new keypad would adhere. I then passed ribbon... Read more
Replaces the front user interface touch pad on your dishwasher. Needed when buttons are unresponsive, panel is cracked, or touch controls are worn or damaged.
We replaced the thermal fuse as recommended by Appliance Parts Pros as 59% the problem and since it was only a $20 part we decided it was worth changing. We also replaced the touch pad /control panel for $160 (not the entire control component). We also discovered once the dishwasher was apart that the door latch was broken. I had not ordered a new door latch so we able to use Gorilla Glue to repair the door latch. After these repairs the dishwasher is working again but we are not sure which of... Read more

Neither the bake or broiler would work on my range. Neither element was damaged or blistered. After reading the descriptions or troubleshooting on Appliance Parts Pros, I determined that the control board had failed on my range. I ordered a replacement from Appliance Parts Pros and then watched the video on how to replace the part. It took approximately 15 minutes to replace. Everything went smoothly and simply. This is the third time I have used Appliance Parts Pros. First for a... Read more

Stainless steel touch pad control panel for your range. Replace when the original panel is cracked, dented, buttons are unresponsive, or keys stop working.
After doing some research online, I saw that to have an appliance repair person come out to fix the touchpad, would cost us well over $500. Some people said they would charge $500 for the part alone. I did a search for the part using our model number and read the reviews on this site and thought we'd give it a try. It was a very easy repair--anyone could do it. You basically remove four side screws and then the screws behind the knobs. Once you pull the front away, there are 4 screws holding... Read more

If this part becomes discolored or otherwise worn in any way, the appliance owner may wish to replace it for cosmetic reasons. Front-mounted control pad for selecting dishwasher cycles and options. Replaces cracked, unresponsive, or worn keypads on the console door panel.
I bought the part from APP.com and the replacement was simply. I pulled it into the receptacle, put the door back together and then adhered the new keypad to the door. This tool about 30 mins in total and only need a putty knife to remove the old one and a screwdriver to put the door back together. Probably saved myself a $200-$300 labor repair cost. Read more
