The proper part was purchased, it was sent to us and we were happy to discover that it fit perfectly, as did the drip pans we ordered. Problem solved! Thanks to Garrett C. Read more

Burner not heating? This surface radiant element sits beneath the glass cooktop and restores heat to a cold zone. Moderately difficult repair.
I ordered a new burner and switch. Received all parts in only one day. Shut breaker, pulled out the range to work on it. Removed the front panel to replace the switch first which was the easy part of the job, only 6 screws. Installed new switch, turned on the breaker to test and found that the burner heated up proving that only the switch was bad. I watched a few video's online to see how others had fixed it, then I tried to do research on the element part number. Appliance Parts Pro's were very helpful.
