Dishwasher Gasket & Seal

The gasket is fairly straightforward: it's just a press-fit right in to the channel. What you need to know is that you need to stretch the gasket material lengthwise prior to installation; if you don't it will be too short. The problem is that the bottom seal is not included with this gasket kit. The bottom seal begins to loosen at the corners and then begins to allow water past the door. Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. • Leaking

After researching the Internet, I thought the drainage hoses were my problem. First I changed both drainage hoses. That didn’t solve the problem. I had to look for another area that was causing water to drip into the pan. I found water leaking from behind the brake assembly. Since I didn’t get an oE error code, I eliminated the brake assembly as causing my problem. I ordered a brake gasket and cover. Once I got it properly installed, problem solved! Read more

I took the inside plate off door. Removed old gasket. Broke styrofoam vent buffernbecause I grabbed it in the wrong place. Ordered both a gasket and vent buffer from your company. It came in 2 days as promised. I had to empty dishwasher of about 2-3 inches of water as with the door apart and knowing it would leak I had to shut off electric supply and hand empty machine first cup by cup and then towel by towel. Following the great video on the site, I pulled the motor off and was about to put the o-rings on when I noticed there was rust on the motor shaft. Very close inspection showed the o-rings were still good. Not having time to order a motor, and a local store was having a sale, I replaced the whole unit. Read more

• Leaking

I ordered a new rubber door seal for around door, new bottom door seal and spinner impeller and nut to hold on bottom arm as it looked weak. Everything worked great except bottom door seal which looks slightly different and would NOT stay on. I ended up putting back on the old one. Door doesnt leak but not sure it would even be worth it sending part back as I already tossed bag out. Other parts worked great and DW cleaning better. Read more

WE replaced the drain pump and it still wouldn't drain sometimes. Finally we realized that the drain hose wasn't the correct bosch hose and the rubber was starting to bend and kink where it went through the hole to under the sink.So we bought the drain hose and replaced. Read more
